Serious Game on transboundary water cooperation and water diplomacy

In the framework of DUPC2 Water Diplomacy project role play game was developed and applied during the module "Water Conflict and Cooperation" at IHE Delft in April-May 2021. The Game aims at building an understanding of the complexities related to the governance of water resources at national and international levels through simulating a real-life environment. Participants of the module had few rounds of intra-state and inter-state negotiations during 2 days, with the aim to agree on joint governance mechanisms on Concordia River Basin.

Advancement of educational excellence

With support of the DUPC2 Water Diplomacy project, IHE Delft, Oregon State University (US) and the University of Peace (Costa Rica) have established a joint master programme on water cooperation and diplomacy. More information can be found here.
